The Scarab had gotten a lot more chatty since Jaime'd gotten back from the Crisis, a natural progression as it evolved into more and more of an individual with free will. It seemed to consider itself one of the gang now so it tried to make jokes right along with the rest of them. Sometimes it even tried to talk conversationally with others, asking Jaime to pass its messages along.
