Peter tried to focus on Red's flute noises. That was concern, right? Was he interpreting things properly? Not that he even knew how to reply, seeing as he couldn't exactly say, 'My spider sense is going off like mad, and oh, it's also being kinda weird'.
"No, of course I'm not Peter Parker. I couldn't possibly have introduced myself by my own name," he said, with only a little bit of snippiness. "And I'm fine, I just..." (feel like something is incredibly wrong) "...have a headache."
And he would have liked to object to being taken back to the pole, wherever that was (they couldn't seriously mean the actual North Pole, right?), when his spider sense intensified, and the things which had been on the edge of his senses finally came into view.
Great, big, black horses with glowing yellow eyes and trails of black dust wherever they ran. They seemed to flow like water over the rooftops like houses, moving fast - very fast.
He really, really wished he'd put on his suit now.

"Oh man oh man, what the hell are those things?"
