"You know how we watch action movies at home? And sometimes a dude gets sucked into another world through a wormhole? Okay. So, I think he's saying, WE'RE the dudes who got sucked through the wormhole. And on this side of the wormhole, our lives are an action movie. That kids really like. And - this guy I guess really doesn't."

Yeah, Mikey knew enough movie cliches to speak movie cliche with this guy. And now he knew a new word for his particular patterns of thought.

"Genre-savviness. Ow." the cords bit into his wrists as he tried to move his hands. "Pretend I'm tapping my forehead all knowingly."

He paused, as his own brain belatedly processed everything he'd just said.

"DUDE! We're an action movie! And - and now we're getting sent to that lab Master Splinter always warned us about."

And that majorly sucked all the fun out of being an action movie star.
