The three scientists threw themselves to the floor as the room exploded, and Dipper took that opportunity to take one of them out, slamming him in the back of the head with his book as hard as he could, knocking him clean out.

He was still invisible, so to the other two scientists and the turtles, it looked like the man just suddenly slumped down unconscious (or even dead).
