Ruffnut listened to his mini-rant with the same sort of attentiveness she usually lacked when Hiccup got going and once he finished she gave him a moments pause before pressing further.

"So basically she dumped you. Wow, guess I owe Tuffnut that eel jerky I was saving under my bed. We've had that bet going on for like...ever."
