Once again Palmon attempted to put herself between the newcomer and Simon. She didn't know him all that well, and she knew the odds were that if he was here it meant he could take care of himself...but her instincts to protect humans over herself was strong.

"Please calm down, this is all just a misunderstanding." She tried again holding her hands up as if to show she didn't have any weapons. In reality however she was testing the wind with her roots. If it was blowing in Guy's direction there might just be a peaceful...if not slightly sneaky way she could end this.

It was not however in Palmon's nature to be particularly sneaky either so this could still be a huge mistake and someone might end up getting stabbed.
