"I guess." Molly pursed her lips a little. "To be honest, I don't think any of them expected we'd actually live through the thing with our parents. Or most of the stuff after. So I dunno if they ever really thought much about me becoming a happy grown-up."

She... was the optimistic one, who thought they'd totally beat the bad guys (and they did!), but being a grown-up herself hadn't really crossed her mind, happy or no.
