At the insistence of just about everyone, seatbelts had been added when they weren't in North's original design. So had footholds for people to use if they wanted to stand up and fight as the thing moved without falling out. Jack pretty much never used them but Kon liked not having to use his flight to stay in the damn thing. He hadn't had his TTK since he got here so he couldn't just glue himself to the floor with it anymore.
Kon had the sleigh already moving as soon as New Guy and Red were in it, so that they started to lift away from the fearlings and started warming the turbo thrusters. As soon as they were both safely buckled in they were booking it.
