"You've been dimensionally displaced. In this world there's a Class seven Metaspectre, a dark god named Kuk, trying to get all the way into this universe. It wants to destroy this world and use it as a stepping stone to destroy all of existence."

"Because of it, reality here has become thin. In this world, we're all fiction. Many worlds theory - there are so many universes everything has to be real somewhere, right? Including worlds where writers come up with fiction that tells the stories of real people in other realities. Because of reality becoming thin thanks to Kuk, the belief and fear of the kids of this worlds is subconsciously pulling us from the worlds where we're real so that we can protect them. A group of people from a variety of dimensions have all been pulled here and changed into mythical superheroes, complete with superpowers. We get stronger based on how many believers we have."
He went on, "In this world, my life is a sitcom that had terrible ratings but became a cult classic. Your life is a popular franchise of multiple movies, comics, and animated television shows. My world has that same franchise as fiction, too. That's how I recognized you."
