[LN] Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble
Upon arrival to Burgess, the others found themselves in the middle of a mess. Children all wandering towards the witches' cabin in the woods, surrounding by a magical dome that didn't let in any adults, the adults all wandering towards the party at the local community college, where the adults were under a spell meant to cause them to dance themselves to death.
The songs, fortunately, had stopped by the time they arrived, but with all the kids inside the dome and all the adults entranced at the party, they had to find some other way to break the spells aside from brute force.
Which meant killing the witches.
Fortunately they had time - at least according to the talking cat that appeared when they tried to break into the dome, claiming to be an enemy of the witches. Apparently peeking inside meant he saw that the spell was draining the life from Jack and the other young myths because they had a surplus of it as myths. Jack in particular had a ton of life energy due to his long unlife and the belief the kids had in him, and it meant that it'd take a long time for the spell to drain the life from all the kids to kill them. It was sucking them all dry, but while Jack bore the brunt of the spell, and then the other myth children that were part of the team next, all of the kids would live.
Until he rain dry. Once he was nearly tapped, the other myths kids all would run close to empty, too, and then the mortal children - and they'd all die at the same time.
Which mean they all had a very important task to accomplish - alone. Other than the team members that had shown up, backup from the Pole wasn't coming, since all the others were out dealing with putting out other fires around the world or not ready to leave the Pole and fight yet.

The Horseman - Korra, Raphael, Red
"Go!" Raph cried to the others as the horseman had approached. He and Korra had opted to stay to fight the stupid thing. "Korra and I will hold him off! The rest of you take out the witches!"
He whipped out his sais.
"Hated this stupid movie..."
But instead of fighting it in a 18th century town like in the movie, they were going to have to face the thing in the busted up, industrial part of town in Burgess. At least that was a little more...urban a setting for a fight, something a little more to his liking.

Mary Sanderson - Nageki and Meowth
A little too quiet, even for a library.
Like something was lying in wait for them.
The library itself was in an ancient historical building that'd had renovations, an extra floor, and additions added to it, and its musty shelves created plenty of places where the witch could be hiding.

So sorry about my lateness!

Winnifred Sanderson - Nico and Trixie
In fact it was the graveyard that the Sanderson sisters had appeared in when the candle was lit, bursting free from new graves formed by story.
Nico and Trixie had only the light of the moon to guide them.
The graveyard was definitely ancient. Some of the graves in the place had to be from colonial times, some so worn there were no names visible, but the mausoleums and later graves suggested it'd be been used up until at least the early 1900s.

The Adults - Bunny and Jamie Bennett
Which was why Bunny and Jamie had made for the college - with Thackery Binx in tow - to try to break the spell sooner - before anyone died.
It tore Jamie up to not help the others - especially when his sister and Jack had been lured away - but he had to save his mom, too.
The adults completely ignored Bunny as they ran through the bustling halls, either the spell making them not care that they saw him, or thinking him someone with a very, very good Halloween costume.
"Okay, there has to be something here keeping up the singing," said Jamie. "Some kind of spell, especially if the witches are all in other places."
Sarah Sanderson - Dean, Sam, and Cordy
They didn't even need to kill them, after all. All they had to do was hold out until the spell drained the children dry and the longer it went, the more power surged into them.
How fortunate they'd been to find the boy that had been dead and alive all at once and his little mythy friends! The powerful they were drawing from them was much more than what they could draw from the mortal children.
Still, as she was wont to do, Sarah got rather distracted as she meandered through the nearby (now empty) shopping mall.
The Winchesters would maybe possibly have a chance at ambushing her. After all, she was getting pretty preoccupied with shoes.
